Footloose Florals
Creating flowers has been one of my favorite subjects. This practice has helped me have a looser art style, learn composition and experiment with numerous color palettes. I have been able to explore flowers using acrylics, watercolor, collage and oil paints.
Footloose Florals is the outcome of my years of practice.
Florals loosely based on reality....
My love of Alice in Wonderland and Dr. Seuss becomes apparent in my florals. Although the basics stay the same (petals, stems, leaves), colors and patterns are open for interpretation. This workshop will show you how to explore outside of reality too.
Footloose Florals is a workshop designed to lead you through an exploration of abstract flower shapes, compositions and color palettes. You are welcome to work along with me or use the lessons as inspiration for your own abstract exploration. This workshop will show you how to create abstract flowers in acrylic, watercolor and collage.
